30 Year Voice Over Actor Takes Control Over her Life and Becomes a Prolific Blogger
A couple years ago I discovered that I was multi-talented. For 30 years I’ve worked as a voice over actor and have an extensive resume in film, TV, radio, commercials and dubbing projects. I am best known for my sweet and sassy young girl roles in Japanese anime cartoons. However, I also discovered that having multiple income streams was WAY better than simply waiting for the phone to ring when someone wanted to hire me to do a voice over. I learned that I not only had some talent as a writer/blogger, but also as a WordPress blog consultant. The consultant part means I set up and configure WordPress blogs for clients to match their branding and look sharp, but I don’t custom code them.
What I’m really saying is that I don’t charge thousands of bucks like a web designer does. Because many WordPress themes look very professional out of the box and usually just require a little minor tweaking, this savings has been quite a boon to the many small business owners and entrepreneurs I have helped since I started my new business.
