Are you completely confused by all the social media networks out there besides Facebook, Twitter and Linked In? I have signed up for so many I had to put links on my blog so that I could remember what I actually signed up for. Right now I have Amplify, Biznik, Cinch Cast, Entrepreneur Connect, Merchant’s Circle, Posterous, Quora, and Yelp. Those are the ones that I could find the actual address of my profile. Some recent additions are Branched Out, My City, Vator. Then, of course there is Digg, Stumbleupon, Delicious, Technorati, Google etc.
To add to the mix are my Twitter apps and ping sites Social Oomph, Twellow, Twollow, Manageflitter, Ping fm, Friendfeed, Networked Blogs, etc., It’s gotten so that I can’t remember who is pinging what or who.
In addition to all that, I have signed up with about 18 Linked In Groups, various Ning sites and a few people have inserted me into their Facebook groups. It’s pretty mind boggling!
Still, I always gravitate to Facebook. To me that’s where the party is. I think it all depends on your personality.
I don’t know how I am ever going to fit in Plurk, Tumblr, Indenti.ca, Bebo, Flickr, and about a zillion others.
Now add up all my Face to Face networking, CEO Space, chamber mixers, speednetworking, women’s groups, leads groups, I guess you could just call me a Butterfly.
Somehow when I get through all of this, I will actually get some work done.
